The Cleveland Cavaliers head into Gainbridge Fieldhouse looking to end a three-game losing streak, and the numbers suggest they’ll cover against the Indiana Pacers.
The Cavaliers rank 14th in points allowed, and their defensive muscles should lead the way tonight against a Pacers group boasting the second-worst offense in the NBA.
Both teams play at a Top-15 pace, but Indiana’s league-worst field-goal percentage typically means possessions don’t always translate into points.
Cleveland faces the challenge of playing with zero days’ rest and will be without Jarrett Allen; however, its experienced backcourt gives the Cavs an edge.

Indiana has won two straight, but those victories came against teams that couldn’t score, and getting buckets hasn’t been Cleveland’s problem this season.
The Cavs’ guards should control the tempo and limit easy looks, with a supporting cast to finish off Indiana and cover the number.
