With Trae Young sidelined due to injury, others have had to step up to keep the Atlanta Hawks afloat.
One of those players has been Nickeil Alexander-Walker, who’s run with the opportunity to have an increased role, averaging a career-high 20.4 points.
The Canadian guard has cashed the Over in three straight, dropping 30+ twice. Last time out, Alexander-Walker showed out for 26 points in a tough 99-98 loss to the Detroit Pistons.
He’s averaging 20.6 points per game at home, and he’s also hit the Over in points in three in a row at State Farm Arena. The Los Angeles Clippers have lost five straight, and they just allowed another guard – Norman Powell – to drop 30 on them.

Jalen Johnson is doing it all, averaging 23.2 points, 10 rebounds, and 7.3 assists. He’s cashed the Over in points in four of his last five. He scored 29 points on Monday, and the Duke product also erupted for 41 on Sunday in an overtime victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.
Kawhi Leonard is doing his best to help the Clips end this skid. He’s poured in 30+ points in three straight, and he happens to be shooting with impressive efficiency from downtown.
Leonard has hit the Over in triples four of his last five, draining at least three treys in each of those games. Overall, he’s averaging 2.5 makes from long range.
