Campbell played 2 seasons with Pistons during 15-year career

DETROIT – Elden Campbell, a member of the Detroit Pistons’ 2004 championship team, has died at age 57.
The announcement was made by the Clemson University basketball team. Campbell played for Clemson from 1986-1990 and is the school’s all-time leading scorer.
“We mourn the loss of Elden Campbell, our all-time leading scorer, All-American, and three-time All-ACC player, who passed away at the age of 57,” the team posted on Instagram.
Campbell appeared in 65 games for the Pistons during the 2003-2004 season, averaging 5.6 points and 3.2 rebounds per game. He had 17 points and 13 rebounds during the five-game NBA Finals series against the Los Angeles Lakers.
As of Wednesday morning, no additional details about his death have been revealed.
