In Monday’s victory over the Pacers, Donovan Mitchell led the way for the Cavaliers as he recorded 43 points, nine rebounds and six assists while Jaylon Tyson added 27 points, 11 rebounds and four assists of his own.
Now Cleveland will try to grab another victory on Wednesday night in a tough home matchup against the Trail Blazers.
On the other side, Portland enters Wednesday’s contest with an 8-13 record after losing on the road to the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday night.

Deni Avdija led the way for the Trail Blazers in Tuesday’s loss as he ended the game with 25 points, eight rebounds and 14 assists while Shaedon Sharpe recorded 23 points and three rebounds off the bench.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Portland has listed Avdija as questionable due to a left ankle sprain and he is in danger of missing his first game of the season
If Avdija is sidelined against the Cavaliers, Sidy Cissoko could be in line for a larger role while Portland will likely rely on Sharpe and Jerami Grant to carry the load offensively.

The Trail Blazers have also listed Donovan Clingan as questionable due to a lower leg contusion while Kris Murray is questionable with a left hip contusion.

Robert Williams III, Scoot Henderson, Jrue Holiday, Blake Wesley, Matisse Thybulle and Damian Lillard have been ruled out for Wednesday’s contest.
Cavaliers Injury Report, Will Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen Play?
On the other side, the Cavaliers have five players listed on their injury report, though the good news for Cleveland is that Darius Garland is not one of them.

Of course, Garland missed Monday’s game due to toe injury management with it being the second game of a back-to-back but he is off the injury report and will play against the Trail Blazers.

Cleveland has listed Lonzo Ball as probable for Wednesday’s game due to an illness and he is expected to return from a two-game absence.

The Cavaliers have ruled out Jarrett Allen due to a sprained right middle finger while Sam Merrill, Larry Nance Jr. and Max Strus remain sidelined due to injuries.
