In Sunday’s loss to the Lakers, Bryce McGowens led the way for the Pelicans as he recorded 23 points, seven rebounds and five assists while Saddiq Bey added 22 points and 11 rebounds of his own.
Now New Orleans will try to bounce back as they look to grab their fourth victory of the season in a tough home matchup against the Timberwolves.
On the other side, Minnesota enters Tuesday’s contest with a 12-8 record after defeating the San Antonio Spurs at home on Sunday night.

Anthony Edwards led the way for the Timberwolves in Sunday’s victory as he ended the game with 32 points and six assists while Julius Randle recorded 22 points, six rebounds and 12 assists.

New Orleans has ruled out Williamson due to a right adductor injury that is expected to sideline him for at least three weeks.

With Williamson sidelined, Bey, McGowens and Micah Peavy could bein in line for larger roles.
New Orleans has listed Trey Murphy III as questionable for Tuesday’s contest due to a right elbow strain, though he is expected to return from a two-game absence.

The Pelicans have also listed Jordan Hawkins as questionable due to an illness while Herb Jones, Jordan Poole, Karlo Matkovic and Dejounte Murray have been ruled out as they remain sidelined due to injuries.
