Boston Celtics superstar Jaylen Brown has been scoring points at a dizzying pace lately, topping 30 points in four of his last five games. He’s averaging a career-high 29 points per game this season, picking up the slack while Jayson Tatum is sidelined.
Brown’s fast start helped him reach a major scoring milestone recently, as he notched his 12,000th career point during Sunday’s win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. He became just the 14th player in Celtics history to score that many points with the franchise.
On his Twitch stream this week, Brown revealed his funny, NSFW reaction to reaching that milestone.
“On Sunday, I passed 12,000 career points. 12,000 career points in the league, right?” Brown said. “And I was sitting there thinking about it, how the (expletive) does LeBron got 42,000, bro? What the?”
While Brown has been a great scorer for a decade, James is simply on another level. He’s the most prolific scorer in NBA history with 42,260 points and counting.

James has gotten there through over two decades of greatness, using his insane durability to play the most minutes in NBA history. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar is still playing at a high level at age 41 and has shown no signs of slowing down.
For reference, Brown would need another 30,215 points to catch James, which is more than all but eight NBA players have scored in their entire careers. Brown just turned 29, so that seems pretty unlikely.
