Indiana Pacers vs Denver Nuggets Preview
Indiana Pacers have managed to move away from the bottom. In their last three games they recorded two wins and now sit at 4–17. In their most recent matchup, they lost at home to the Cleveland Cavaliers 119–135, and it is clear that with this roster it is difficult for them to make any significant progress. This season they have been plagued by injuries that have decimated the team, making it obvious that the roster needs new leaders. The Pacers have the second-worst offensive rating in the NBA with 108.2 points per 100 possessions. Additionally, they are the weakest three-point shooting team at only 31.7 percent, and they have the fewest assists in the league. They also struggle heavily on defense, where they collapse too easily and opponents punish them for it.
The injury to Tyrese Haliburton has greatly shaped the course of this season, in which the Pacers have practically been without at least three very important players in every game. Looking at their performances, Pascal Siakam has been by far the best and most consistent player, averaging 23.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 4.4 assists. After returning to the lineup, he has received strong support from Bennedict Mathurin, who is averaging 22.2 points, and in recent games Andrew Nembhard has joined them as well. Jay Huff has also been consistent, scoring in double figures in the last five games. Jarace Walker plays with too many ups and downs and cannot maintain shooting consistency.
Although Nikola Jokic is playing in the best form of his career, it is not helping the Denver Nuggets, who have been very inconsistent recently. After a strong start, they entered a stretch in which they dropped several home games, while performing much better on the road. It is obvious that the team has lost focus on defense, which has caused major problems. Offensively, they are the best team in the NBA, averaging 124.6 points per game, ranking fourth in assists (29.9), and ninth in rebounds (45.8). However, they lack defensive aggressiveness, as shown by their low numbers in steals and blocks, where they rank last in the league.
Besides their poor defense, depth is once again a problem because they are playing without two starters, Christian Braun and Aaron Gordon, and on top of that Jamal Murray was injured in the last game. They are also missing a solid bench player, Julian Strawther. Nikola Jokic is having a phenomenal season, averaging 29 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 11.1 assists per game. He is shooting 62.1 percent from the field (eighth in the league) and 43.8 percent from three. After good early-season performances, the Denver Nuggets bench has been struggling more and more, with only Tim Hardaway and Peyton Watson providing consistent contributions in recent games.

Injuries and Suspensions
The Indiana Pacers will be without Aaron Nesmith, Quenton Jackson, Obi Toppin, Kam Jones, and Tyrese Haliburton, while Johnny Furphy is questionable. Christian Braun, Aaron Gordon, and Julian Strawther will be out for the Denver Nuggets, with Nikola Jokić and Jamal Murray listed as questionable.
Where to Watch Indiana Pacers vs Denver Nuggets?
Indiana Pacers vs Denver Nuggets Best Betting Tip and Prediction
The Denver Nuggets are playing much better on the road this season, where they are on a winning streak. They are the best offensive team in the NBA, and away from home they seem much more relaxed, which is why their shooting percentages are significantly better. On the other hand, the Indiana Pacers are struggling heavily on offense, especially with their three-point shooting, and a major problem is that they are one of the teams that rely the most on individual talent. This will make defensive matchups easier for the visitors in this game.
