Portland Trail Blazers rookie Yang Hansen made his home debut for the Rip City Remix on Thursday night, registering 20 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in a 135-128 overtime loss to the San Diego Clippers at the Chiles Center.
Playing 35 minutes, Yang produced those numbers for the Blazers’ G League affiliate while shooting 7-14 from the field, 2-6 on 3s and 3-4 from the free throw line. He also added two steals, two blocks and four turnovers.
Clippers forward Taylor Funk hit a game-tying 3-pointer with nine seconds left to send the game to overtime tied at 127-127. Then San Diego outscored the Remix 8-1 in OT to reach the target score of 134 and win the game.
Starting guard Blake Hinson led the Remix with 31 points on 10-20 shooting, including a prolific 9-18 mark from downtown. The Remix’s other starting guard, Dillon Jones, added 26 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Guard TyTy Washington Jr. paced the Clippers with a game-high 33 points.

The Remix plays its next game at the Chiles Center on Sunday against the South Bay Lakers at 3 p.m. Pacific. The Blazers will also be in action that day when they face the Memphis Grizzlies on the road. At this moment, it’s unclear which team Yang will be suiting up with.
