While younger fans of the team may not know how much of an offensive force Hall of Fame Boston Celtics small forward Paul Pierce was in his prime, the Inglewood native could hang a 40-piece on you without even blinking back when he was one of the NBA’s most clutch scorers.
In fact, The Truth happens to be one of the players on the list of highest single-game scoring in Celtics history, with a 50-burger to his credit while he was still donning the green and white. It came in a contest vs. his arch nemeses, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers while King James was still finding his sea legs in the league back in 2006.
