On a road trip that began without Stephen Curry (quadriceps contusion) and Jimmy Butler (left knee soreness), the Warriors may have to face the possibility of Draymond Green also missing time.

Late in the second quarter of the Golden State Warriors’ tilt against the Philadelphia 76ers — one that ended in a heartbreaking 98-99 loss after rallying from a 24-point deficit — Green suffered what looked like a right ankle sprain after the Sixers’ Dominick Barlow unintentionally landed on Green’s right foot.

Green immediately called for a substitution and promptly limped off the court, with Warriors’ director of sports medicine and performance Rick Celebrini in tow. Green wouldn’t return after the half and was replaced by Trayce Jackson-Davis in the starting group. It was soon announced that Green would miss the rest of the game due to a right foot issue.

It was reported that Green was walking in a boot postgame, further stating that the foot he hurt tonight was the same foot that was hurt when Donovan Clingan landed on him two weeks ago, an injury that kept him out of one game.
