SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) – The Notre Dame baseball team finished its regular season red hot and now has a chance to make the NCAA Tournament.
The Fighting Irish have won 16 of their last 19 games and 10 out of their last 12 in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) to finish the season with an overall 32-20 record, 14-16 in the ACC.
Experts have them on the bubble and on the outside looking in for the NCAA Tournament right now, but they feel if the Irish can get a couple wins in the ACC Tournament they could get a bid.
Notre Dame is the No. 11 seed in the ACC tourney and they will play the No. 14 seed Boston College tonight at 9 in Durham, N.C.
If they win the Irish will play the No. 6 seed Virginia Wednesday night.
WNDU.com will keep you updated on the team’s game tonight which will air on the ACC network.
