The Memphis Grizzlies wrapped up practice on Thursday afternoon with a notable face on the floor.

It was point guard Ja Morant, who hasn’t appeared in a game since suffering a calf strain in the early minutes of a Nov. 15 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Morant’s injury timetable suggested an update could come this week as he was reevaluated. Instead of a formal release, news was provided by Memphis head coach Tuomas Iisalo.
