Standings
Chicago Bulls vs Indiana Pacers Preview
Nikola Vucevic warned even after some wins that the Chicago Bulls were not playing well, that their poor approach would come back to hurt them, and that is exactly what happened. The Bulls have dropped five straight games, and this last one on their home court was especially painful, losing 103–113 to the Brooklyn Nets, one of the worst teams in the NBA this season. All of this inevitably led to a slide down the standings, and the Bulls are now in 11th place with a record of nine wins and 12 losses. They can certainly climb back up — there is time — but they will have to improve their form, as they are currently the worst team in the East with five losses in a row. The only positive is that their next game is against the Indiana Pacers, a matchup they can win.
The best player on the Chicago Bulls is undoubtedly Josh Giddey, who dominates in all major statistical categories. He averages 20.6 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 9.1 assists — nearly a triple-double per game. He is followed by the excellent Nikola Vucevic with 16.6 points and 9.8 rebounds, while Coby White has averaged 24.2 points in a small number of games and is expected to deliver even more. Ayo Dosunmu contributes 15.8 points, Matas Buzelis 13.6, and Tre Jones — who has been dealing with an injury — adds 13.2 points and is the team’s best ball thief (1.7 steals per game). Offensively, the Bulls are very good, ranking eighth in the league with 119 points per game. Defensively, however, they sit at just 21st, which clearly shows where the problem lies.
The Indiana Pacers have played poor basketball this season. Despite that, they managed to beat the Washington Wizards and the Chicago Bulls, but then suffered losses to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Denver Nuggets. Everything they have shown this season has been enough for only four wins and as many as 18 losses, placing them 14th out of 15 teams in the East. What works in their favor in this matchup is the fact that they recently defeated the Bulls in a close game, and they will try to repeat that — this time on the road. Overall, this will be a meeting of two teams that have been far from impressive this season.
In this otherwise bleak season for the Indiana Pacers, the bright spot has been Pascal Siakam, who leads the team with 24.1 points per game and also averages a team-high 7.2 rebounds. Andrew Nembhard provides 17.5 points and 6.2 assists when healthy and available, and the same goes for Bennedict Mathurin, who contributes 21.1 points but has played only 10 games so far. Among the double-digit scorers is also Aaron Nesmith with 15.5 points, although he, too, is dealing with an injury. The Pacers rank 23rd in the NBA in defensive rating, while offensively they have been extremely poor — just 29th in the league, with only the Brooklyn Nets having a worse offense so far this season.
Chicago Bulls vs Indiana Pacers H2H
The Indiana Pacers have won three of the last five meetings, including the most recent matchup on November 30, which ended 103–101.
Injuries and Suspensions
The Chicago Bulls will be without Kevin Huerter. Noah Essengue, Coby White, Isaac Okoro, Jalen Smith, Tre Jones, Dalen Terry, Patrick Williams, Ayo Dosunmu, and Zach Collins are all listed as questionable. Tyrese Haliburton will not play for the Indiana Pacers, and Obi Toppin, Aaron Nesmith, Kam Jones, and Quenton Jackson are also out. Ben Sheppard is questionable for this matchup.

Chicago Bulls vs Indiana Pacers Best Betting Tip and Prediction
The Chicago Bulls have fallen into a really poor stretch of results, and they should finally be expected to show some kind of response. They have the right opponent for that, considering that the Indiana Pacers have not looked good at all this season. With home court advantage on their side, we expect the Bulls to win this matchup by a margin larger than the offered handicap.
