Wizards players helping make holidays a little brighter for local family

Marvin Bagley and the Washington Wizards provide $70,000 in rent relief.

WASHINGTON — Led by Marvin Bagley, the Washington Wizards are helping to make sure some families have a roof over their heads this over the holidays.

Bagley says this is the second year he’s been involved in housing.

Along with a couple of other players, Bagley is providing up to $70,000 in rent relief for families struggling to stay in their homes.

Bagley says he hopes more athletes step up and support their communities.
