Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been ruled out for the OKC Thunder’s road game against the Utah Jazz at 7 p.m. Sunday due to left elbow bursitis.

Gilgeous-Alexander has played in every game for OKC (22-1) so far this season. The reigning MVP is averaging 32.8 points, 6.4 assists and 4.7 rebounds on 55.6% shooting from the field and 44.3% shooting from deep.

Elbow bursitis is inflammation in the olecranon bursa. It’s the fluid-filled sac that surrounds and protects your elbow.

OKC will also continue to be without Alex Caruso (right quad contusion), Lu Dort (right adductor strain), Isaiah Hartenstein (right soleus strain), Isaiah Joe (left knee soreness), Thomas Sorber (right ACL surgery) and Nikola Topić (surgery recovery).

OKC will place its 14-game winning streak on the line when it faces Utah (8-14). The Thunder earned a 144-112 road win over the Jazz on Nov. 21.
