How can you watch the Phoenix Suns vs. Minnesota Timberwolves game on Peacock NBA Monday?

This week’s Peacock NBA Mondays was originally set to feature a doubleheader of Kings/Pacers and Spurs/Pelicans, but both of those games will be flexed out to local markets in favor of the Suns vs. Timberwolves game, marking the second straight week that Phoenix has hit Peacock in Primetime.

The game is set to tip off at 7:30 p.m. ET from the Target Center in Minneapolis, and you can catch it all live on Peacock. The game will also feature Peacock’s “On The Bench” in-depth coverage, with Robbie Hummel covering the Suns and Austin Rivers covering the Timberwolves.

What to know about the Suns vs. Timberwolves Peacock NBA Monday game on December 8

The Suns are not only playing a road game against a tough opponent, but they’re doing it down a couple of their major stars. Devin Booker, the team’s leading scorer, went down in early December with a groin injury and isn’t expected back until a week before Christmas, and the same is true of Jalen Green. The Timberwolves, led by Anthony Edwards, are in much better shape, so they’ve got a couple of advantages from the start.

Still, the Suns do have healthy weapons at their disposal, including one of the league’s best three-point shooters in Grayson Allen, and they won the previous matchup between these two teams back in November. Still, there’s a good chance they pull this one out, even though all signs point to Edwards and the Timberwolves in their natural element, finding plenty of different ways to win this time around. The Suns won’t make it easy, though, so make sure you tune in. These two teams are both jockeying for position in the Western Conference standings right now, so this could be a preview of a playoff game we’ll all be watching in a few months.
