Phoenix Suns wing Dillon Brooks is questionable for Monday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves due to left Achilles soreness.

Devin Booker (groin), Jalen Green (hamstring) and Isaiah Livers (hip) all remain out for Phoenix, while Minnesota will be without two-way players Rocco Zikarsky and Enrique Freeman.

Brooks played 31 minutes and had 23 points, four rebounds and four assists in Friday’s 117-98 loss to the Houston Rockets, his former squad.

The minute total was roughly in line with what he was averaging over the previous 13 games, playing in all games since missing six games early in the year with groin and core muscle injuries.

Brooks has provided some of the most consistent offense for the Suns, and Booker and Green’s absences have magnified how important he is to the team operating functionally.

Were he to also miss time, that load shifts more to Grayson Allen and Collin Gillespie.

Allen is averaging 9.5 points on 3-for-14 3-point shooting in two games since he returned from a quad contusion, with an additional game missed in between due to illness.

Gillespie tallied 20-plus points in four of his past eight games after just one 20-point game over his previous 72 contests. He’s also started four of the past five games to reach 13 career starts.

He’s shooting 42.9% on seven 3-point attempts per game. Just two players in the NBA have a higher percentage on more attempts per game — Jamal Murray (46.1% on 7.2 attempts per game) and Sam Merrill (44.4% on 8.3 attempts but in half as many games).
