In Friday’s victory over the Mavericks, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way for the Thunder as he recorded 33 points, five rebounds and six assists while Jalen Williams added 15 points, eight rebounds and five assists of his own.
Now Oklahoma City will try to extend their winning streak to 15 games on Sunday night in a road matchup against a struggling Jazz team.
On the other side, Utah enters Sunday’s contest with an 8-14 record after losing on the road to the New York Knicks on Friday night.

Lauri Markkanen led the way for the Jazz in Friday’s loss as he ended the game with 18 points and nine rebounds while Keyonte George recorded 18 points and four assists.

Oklahoma City has ruled out Shai due to left elbow bursitis as he will miss his first game of the season.
With Shai sidelined, Ajay Mitchell and Cason Wallace could be in line for larger roles while Williams and Chet Holmgren may be relied on to carry the load offensively.
The Thunder have ruled out Dort due to an adductor strain as he remains sidelined while Isaiah Hartenstein is still sidelined due to a soleus strain.

Alex Caruso has also been ruled out with a quad contusion while Isaiah Joe is out due to knee soreness.

On the other side, the Jazz have three players listed on their injury report for Sunday’s game, including Markkanen.

Utah has listed Markkanen as questionable due to an illness and he is in danger of missing his first game of the season.
