MINNEAPOLIS — Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks is listed as questionable with left Achilles soreness for the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Dec. 8 at Target Center.

Averaging 22.3 points a game, Brooks is Phoenix’s second-leading scorer. He’s coming off a 23-point effort in a 117-98 road loss on Dec. 5 against the Houston Rockets.

Brooks sat out the entire fourth quarter after playing 31 minutes as the Suns trailed by as many as 30 points in the second half. He missed six games earlier this season with what was first diagnosed as right groin soreness, but was later listed as a core muscle strain.

Devin Booker (right groin strain), Jalen Green (right hamstring strain) and two-way Isaiah Livers (right hip strain) remain out.

Booker is scheduled for a re-evaluation this week after he missed Phoenix’s last two games.

Suns coach Jordan Ott said before the loss at Houston that Booker could be available for the Dec. 10 NBA Cup quarterfinal game against defending NBA champion Oklahoma City (22-1) at Paycom Center.

“If his body is feeling good and he’s in a good place, he’ll absolutely be available,” said Ott about the OKC rematch as Phoenix lost, 123-119, in NBA Cup group play last month in Oklahoma City.

Booker leads the Suns in scoring at 25 points a game.

Green has only played two games this season as he’s due for a re-evaluation this month, while Livers has been sidelined for the last four games for the Suns (13-10).

The T-Wolves (15-8) have no one listed on their injury report due to injury, as two-way players Enrique Freeman and Rocco Zikarsky are on a G League assignment.

Phoenix is 1-3 in its last four games, while Minnesota has won its last five games.

The Suns pulled out a 114-113 thriller over the T-Wolves last month in Phoenix as Collin Gillespie capped a 9-0 run in the game’s final 49 seconds with a game-winning basket with 6.4 seconds left.

Anthony Edwards scored 41 points in the loss for Minnesota. He missed two free throws with 12.7 seconds left to set up Gillespie’s heroics.
