Charlotte Hornets star LaMelo Ball suffered an apparent injury during Friday’s game vs. the Toronto Raptors and is in the locker room.
It’s unclear what exactly the injury is, but Ball slipped in the third quarter and was checked out by trainers before heading to the tunnel. He does not yet have an official injury status.

Ball played 12 minutes in Friday’s game, recording 11 points, three assists and two rebounds.
Watch for Tre Mann to see additional minutes in Ball’s place if he misses time.
Ball, 24 years old, has struggled with injuries throughout much of his career and this season is no exception. He’s appeared in just 15 games thus far, averaging the fewest points per game since his rookie campaign with just 19.9. However, he remains one of the NBA’s premier playmaking guards with a career-best 8.9 assists per contest. If he misses significant time, his presence as a table-setter for teammates will be missed.
