The men’s basketball team lost to Radford, 89-56, on Dec. 7.
Freshman Paris Papadatos led the Red Flash in scoring for the second straight game with 15 points. The native of Greece knocked down three three-pointers in 20 minutes of action.
SFU’s leading scorer Skylar Wicks finished the game with 14 points. Wicks has reached double figures in all eight games that he has played in this season.
Senior Chris Moncrief returned from injury after missing eight games. The Pittsburgh-area native had three points, two steals, one rebound and one assist in 12 minutes off the bench.
Sophomore Victor Payne recorded six rebounds and three steals against the Highlanders (4-7).
Senior Jaylon Johnson led Radford with 18 points. The Highlanders shot 53 percent (33-for-62) from the field, compared to 34 percent shooting (21 for 61) for SFU.
SFU (2-8) will have a week off for finals at the University before returning to action at Temple on Dec. 14. The game between the Red Flash and Owls will tip off at noon in Philadelphia.
