The Giannis Antetokounmpo rumors keep getting louder.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has been out with a calf strain but he and his agent are talking to the Milwaukee Bucks about his future.
There was some chatter about Giannis possibly being traded over the summer as he expressed his interest in the New York Knicks, but nothing materialized.
The Bucks have gotten off to a poor 10-15 start and sit in 10th place in the Eastern Conference, which has only made the Giannis trade rumors even more prevalent.

Until Giannis requests a trade, it doesn’t seem like the Bucks will be eager to part ways with their two-time MVP.
Marc Stein talked about the latest Giannis rumors and revealed what the Bucks are telling NBA teams about the Greek superstar.
“As trade season draws close, everyone is talking about Giannis.
“Even though — and I want to underline this — the Bucks continue to tell teams: ‘He’s not available. We don’t want your trade pitches.’
“So, it’s this weird deal where the Bucks keep shouting into the wind: ‘Listen to us! We don’t want to talk trades with you about Giannis Antetokounmpo!’
“And the rest of the league just ignores it and obsesses about him.”
How the Milwaukee Bucks can still redeem things with Giannis Antetokounmpo
If the Bucks aren’t interested in trading Giannis and starting over, they could show Giannis they care about winning another title.

The way Jon Horst and company can do that is they need to be aggressive at the trade deadline and improve their roster.
As things stand, the Bucks aren’t going anywhere even when Giannis comes back. The Bucks need another star in the mix.
If the Bucks can pull off a big move, that might entice Giannis to want to stay. However, if they are just banking on his return saving the team, then Antetokounmpo will grow frustrated.
