LeBron James got the last laugh when a heckler made fun of his hairline during the Lakers-76ers game on Dec. 7James shrugged and laughed it off when the fan said he “still ain’t got no hair though” while an opponent was shooting a free throwThe Lakers star then clapped back, saying, “You know what I do got though….and plenty of it,” seemingly referring to his billionaire status

LeBron James had a quick comeback for a courtside heckler giving the NBA star a hard time about his hairline.

James, 40, was on the court during the Lakers’ game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday, Dec. 7 when a fan sitting courtside started loudly teasing him.

“You still ain’t got no hair though,” the heckler told James as an opponent shot a free throw, as seen in a video shared on Instagram.

The Lakers star heard the comment and seemed to laugh it off, shrugging and telling fans sitting courtside, “It happens,” of his receding hairline.

“You know what I do got though,” James continued with a smile, seemingly referring to his bank account, as fans excitedly reacted to him jarring back with the heckler. “And plenty of it,” James added before jogging down the court for the next play.

In 2022, James officially became a billionaire after he earned $121.2 million in 2021, according to Forbes. He is the first active NBA player to do so.

Michael Jordan is the only other professional basketball player to become a billionaire, Forbes said, but — unlike James — he reached the milestone more than a decade after his retirement after investing in the Charlotte Hornets.

Earlier this season, James teased fans with a potential retirement announcement on social media when he said he was announcing “the decision of all decisions.”

Some diehard fans quickly took out their wallets to secure tickets for what they thought might have been James’ final season. TickPick reported after James’ teaser announcement that Lakers tickets “absolutely skyrocketed,” with some going from $85 to $445.

But when the Olympic gold medalist revealed he was just promoting an advertisement for Hennessy, some fans were upset. One fan even considered filing a lawsuit against James after purchasing an $800 ticket thinking James would announce his retirement, according to ABC and the Los Angeles Times.

James has stayed mum since on his retirement plans, though he did end another streak — during the Lakers’ game on Dec. 4, his 1,297-game streak of scoring 10 or more points came to an end when the star only scored 8 points in 36 minutes.

When asked about “what feelings” he had about the streak ending, the 40-year-old James joked: “None. We won.”
