No. 11 Gonzaga managed to rebound from an unpleasant loss to Michigan at the Players Era tournament in style, as after the huge win against Kentucky they managed to dump North Florida, scoring big – 109:58!

Everything went extremely well for the Bulldogs, both on the offensive and the defensive side. It seemed like they have completely forgotten about the trashing against the Wolverines in Las Vegas.

As we mentioned, Gonzaga handed over a huge punch to Kentucky just a couple of days before. Now, it was North Florida’s turn to suffer.

It was all about the Bulldogs in this one from the first minute of the game. North Florida managed to keep up for about six minutes, after which they litterarly dissapeared from the court.

Gonzaga was already up by 10 with 11 minutes to go in the first half. Just six minutes later, it was already “plus 20” in favour of the Bulldogs, who were leading by 25 points at the big break.

Gonzaga scored 56 points in the second half against North Florida

That wasn’t the end of trouble for North Florida, as Gonzaga continued to play in the same fashion in the second half. Bulldogs really wanted to make an impression with Mario Saint–Supery, Braden Huff and others all doing their effort.

It was just a matter of time when Gonzaga would break the 100-point mark and that happened with four minutes and 44 seconds to go, after a two-pointer made by Tyon Grant–Foster.

In the end, Braden Huff was the leader for Gonzaga with 24 points scored, while Davis Fogle added 15. Mario Saint–Supery also had a good game with 13 points and 7 assists.
