Phoenix Suns coach gives injury update on Devin Booker, Jalen Green

Phoenix Suns head coach Jordan Ott updated the media on the injury status of Devin Booker and Jalen Green on Dec. 8, 2025.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Phoenix Suns star guard Devin Booker is listed as questionable for the Wednesday, Dec. 10, NBA Cup quarterfinal game against the defending NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder at Paycom Center.

Booker has missed Phoenix’s past two games with a right groin strain suffered in the first quarter of a road victory Dec. 1 over the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Suns (14-10) are 1-1 in those games, losing last week at Houston and winning at Minnesota on Dec. 8. Booker is averaging a team-high 25 points per game.

Jalen Green (right hamstring strain) and two-way player Isaiah Livers (right hip strain) are ruled out for the Suns, while Isaiah Hartenstein (right soleus strain) and Isaiah Joe (left knee contusion) are listed out for the Thunder (23-1).

The Suns didn’t practice on Dec. 9, while the Thunder did.

Oklahoma City has won its past 15 games, with the closest margin of victory coming against the Suns in NBA Cup West Group A play, 123-119, last month at Paycom Center.

The Thunder-Suns winner will play the Los Angeles Lakers-San Antonio Spurs winner in the NBA Cup semifinals Dec. 13 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Oklahoma City is the No. 1 seed in the West, while the Suns are a wild card. The Lakers are seeded second and the Spurs are a third seed.

If the Suns lose, they will play the Lakers-Spurs loser to give them 82 games this season.

If the Suns and Lakers lose, they will meet Dec. 14 in Phoenix.

If the Suns and Spurs lose, they’ll meet Dec. 15 in San Antonio.
