On Monday night, the Minnesota Timberwolves (15-8) will host the Phoenix Suns (13-10) at 6:30 CT. This is a bit of a revenge game for the Wolves, who squandered a late-game lead against the Suns two weeks ago.

At first, it looked like the Timberwolves would have a fully healthy crew on Monday as they have for most of the season. However, it might be a bit more challenging as Anthony Edwards made a surprise appearance on the Wolves’ injury report.

Here’s the full injury report ahead of Monday’s game.

Given that both Edwards and Terrence Shannon Jr. appeared on the injury report with an illness, there’s something going around on the Wolves team. Thankfully, though, both players are healthy enough to play.

After missing four games with a hamstring injury, Edwards has been healthy for the rest of the season. As a result, it was a surprise when Ant appeared on the injury report on Monday. Nevertheless, head coach Chris Finch has since said that he is good to go. Edwards is currently enjoying a career-best season, averaging 28.1 points. Needless to say, having him available will be a big boost to the Timberwolves.

Shannon, the second-year wing, is struggling to find his groove so far, averaging 5.0 points with a 50.9 effective field goal percentage. Regardless, Monday will give Shannon another chance to prove himself, even if he’s not at 100 percent.

Suns full injury report vs. TimberwolvesDevin Booker (Groin) – OUT Jalen Green (Hamstring) – OUTIsaiah Livers (Hip) – OUT Dillon Brooks (Achilles) – QUESTIONABLE

Devin Booker’s absence isn’t much of a surprise, as last Friday, it was announced that he would be re-evaluated in a week with a groin injury. The Suns playing without their star should favor the Wolves. However, it’s worth noting the Suns won their last meeting despite Booker shooting 4-for-16 from the field.

Dillon Brooks is dealing with Achilles soreness. Brooks’ absence would be a significant one, especially with Booker already sidelined. Notably, Brooks is the Suns’ second leading scorer, averaging 22.3 ppg. He also led the Suns with 22 points the last time these teams faced off.

Meanwhile, Jalen Green remains out with a hamstring strain. Green also only played in two games this season, but should re-evaluate soon.
