Tyrese Maxey and the Philadelphia 76ers are currently taking advantage of a break in the schedule as they look to rest up and prepare for the Indiana Pacers on Friday. The Sixers are sitting at 13-10–much better than the 2024-25 season–despite having players go in and out of the lineup and the top stars on minutes restrictions.

Maxey has carried the brunt of the offensive load as he’s averaging 31.5 points and 7.2 assists while shooting 46.7% from the floor and 39.1% from deep despite Joel Embiid and Paul George sidelined for a majority of the first 23 games of the season. The hope for coach Nick Nurse and Co. is that the minutes will be able to begin to increase for both stars as Philadelphia looks to move forward.

With that being said, with a break in the schedule, now is the time to take a look at the standings in the Eastern Conference as the Sixers look to move forward. Remember, the top 6 spots are guaranteed to make the playoffs while seeds 7 through 10 will compete in the play-in tournament to determine seeds 7 and 8.
