SAN FRANCISCO — Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry returned to practice on Wednesday after missing the last five games because of a left quad contusion.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Curry went through all of practice and remains hopeful that the 37-year-old guard will be able to return for Friday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

“Day to day,” Kerr said. “But it’s looking good.”

Curry originally suffered the injury at the end of a Nov. 26 loss to the Houston Rockets.  Curry did not make the Warriors’ recent three-game trip as he continued his rehab at home.
