According to NBA Insider Chris Haynes, Giannis Antetokounmpo gathered his Milwaukee Bucks teammates for a meeting.
Although the report did not share the exact details of what happened or what was said, it stated that the purpose was to remind them to focus on basketball. However, some of Antetokounmpo’s teammates, including Kyle Kuzma, have spoken up to debunk this report.

Kyle Kuzma Shares the Truth About Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Reported Team Meeting
All the outside noise regarding trade rumors, especially when it’s the franchise superstar, can rattle a team that’s already struggling to win. The distraction it causes intensifies when the star himself is the one pushing for the separation.
While Antetokounmpo has yet to request a trade formally, reports of his meetings with the front office about his future can still cause disarray.
Despite the uncertainties surrounding his future, Antetokounmpo remains the leader of this team. His calling a meeting to remind his teammates to stay focused is what leaders do. Except this meeting might not have happened.
According to CBS Sports’ Jack Maloney, Kuzma himself has denied that the meeting ever took place.
“I don’t really remember a time he met with us,” Kuzma said. “He didn’t sit us down like The Apprentice. It didnt go down like that.”

To further address Haynes’s reports, Kevin Porter Jr. also spoke up to correct the incorrect reports about Antetokounmpo and the Bucks.
“This is the last thing I’m gonna say about anything regarding false information. At the end of the day, everyone needs to wait until Giannis says something,” Porter said. “Because all of this is just he say, she say, and I guarantee you when we start winning and go 8-0, 9-0, you won’t see nothing about the Bucks.”
The rumor regarding Antetokounmpo’s future might be getting ahead of itself. What is known is that he and his agent have initiated discussions about his future with the organization. This might seem like an indication that he wants out. However, that initial report was shared by Insider Shams Charania nearly a week ago (Dec. 4).
Since then, there hasn’t been any confirmation, either from Antetokounmpo’s camp or from the Bucks, that he wants out. This most likely indicates that the discussions are still ongoing, and there’s every chance that neither side wants to split up.
