WAUBUN, Minn. — Ashlynn Forde netted 23 points as Park Christian cruised past Mahnomen-Waubun 65-32 in Minnesota girls basketball on Friday night.
Annika Frueh had 13 points and eight rebounds for the Falcons, who led 42-20 at the half. Annika Johnson scored 10 points and Cierra Carlson led the team with 12 rebounds. Kenley Syberson led Mahnomen-Waubun with 12 points.
Geiger, Brunsvold pace Oak Grove past Hillsboro-CV
FARGO — Sophie Geiger connected on three 3-pointers as part of her 14 points and Harper Brunsvold added 13 as Oak Grove beat Hillsboro-Central Valley 51-45 in North Dakota girls basketball on Friday.
Rachel Christianson added six points, including going 4 of 4 from the line, for the Grovers. McCall Johnson and Payton Hanson each chipped in five points.
Ulland paces Jamestown past South girls
JAMESTOWN, N.D. — Mea Ulland helped lead Jamestown to a convincing win over Fargo South Friday night. The Blue Jays handily defeated Fargo South 82-36 to move to 2-0 on the year.
Ulland hit six 3-pointers to finish with 19 points. Adisyn Yunk added 13 for the Blue Jays.
West Fargo’s Pfau, Samek team up to help beat Legacy boys
BISMARCK — Beckett Pfau had 26 points and Aiden Samek added 25 as West Fargo edged Legacy-Bismarck 84-76 in North Dakota boys basketball. John Roubideaux had 27 points to lead Legacy.
Pelican Rapids overpowers Hawley for win
PELICAN RAPIDS, Minn. — Jack Welch scored 28 points to lead Pelican Rapids to a 72-47 win over Hawley in Minnesota boys basketball on Friday. Brody Hadley scored 13 and Matthew Crompton had seven to lead the Nuggets.
