SAN ANTONIO — Spurs star Victor Wembanyama is expected to return for Saturday’s NBA Cup Semifinals game after being out for nearly a month with a calf strain.
Wembanyama was listed as “probable” on the team’s latest injury report on Friday. Wembanyana has been out since Nov. 14 with a left calf strain injury.

Wembanyama and Spurs Head Coach Mitch Johnson spoke at a press conference in Las Vegas on Friday night. “I’m feeling great, I’m ready to go,” Wembanyama said.
He also said he would have returned sooner if it were up to him but instead he listened and put his trust in the Spurs’ medical team.
