A blockbuster three-team NBA trade idea sending Giannis Antetokounmpo from the Milwaukee Bucks to the Miami Heat has been created.

NBA writer Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report created the following trade idea between the Bucks, Heat and Golden State Warriors:

Miami Heat get: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Buddy Hield, Trayce Jackson-Davis

Milwaukee Bucks get: Tyler Herro, Jonathan Kuminga, Kel’el Ware, GSW 2026 first-round pick (lottery-protected), MIA 2029 first-round pick (swap), MIA 2030 first-round pick, MIA 2031 first-round pick (swap), MIA 2032 first-round pick

Golden State Warriors get: Andrew Wiggins, Dru Smith

Antetokounmpo is interested in getting traded to the Heat if he requests a trade from the Bucks, sources told DallasHoopsJournal. The Greek Freak and Miami star Bam Adebayo have the same agent, Alex Saratsis of Octagon.

A top 75 player of all time, Antetokounmpo is making $54.1 million this season. He has a player option worth $62.8 million for the 2027-28 season. The all-world forward doesn’t have a no-trade clause in his contract.

A future Hall of Famer, Antetokounmpo is averaging 28.9 points, 10.1 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game this season while shooting 63.9% from the field and 63.5% from the free-throw line. He’s currently out with a right calf strain.

One of the greatest players in NBA history, Antetokounmpo is a two-time MVP, one-time Finals MVP, one-time Defensive Player of the Year and nine-time All-Star. He holds career averages of 24.0 points, 9.9 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game.

If Antetokounmpo requests a trade this season, almost every contender will attempt to acquire the NBA legend.

The Heat and Bucks lost in the first round of the 2025 playoffs. Antetokounmpo had his eyes on Miami in 2020 before signing an extension with Milwaukee and winning the 2021 championship against the Phoenix Suns.

The Bucks have lost in the first round of the playoffs three years in a row. Antetokounmpo has grown tired of losing, so his future is certainly worth keeping an eye on.

Along with the Heat, Antetokounmpo has eyes on the New York Knicks as well, sources said.
