Will the return of Wemby be enough for the Spurs to slay the giants tonight? Or will the Thunder continue their march to another trophy?

The Thunder are 11.5-point home favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook. They’re priced at -520 on the moneyline, while the Spurs are +390 underdogs. The total for this game is set at 231.5 points. Let’s get into my favorite Wembanyama prop bet for this Spurs vs. Thunder showdown.

Welcome back, Wembanyama. Say hello to the best defense in the league. He’ll get a heavy dose of Isaiah Hartenstein, Chet Holmgren, and some bully ball all over the floor tonight. It’s a tough matchup to ramp up for.

San Antonio head coach Mitch Johnson also threw some cold water on his return. Despite the stakes of this game, they’re not going to risk overtaxing him in his return to the lineup. We don’t know exactly what limit is being placed on him, but there is going to be a minutes restriction.

Five times in his career, Wemby has been held to single-digit scoring. Two of those games were against these Thunder, and that’s out of four career games against OKC. If there’s a team that can make him look mortal, it’s these Thunder. His return is exciting, but temper your expectations.
