Jordan saw his iconic 1992-93 jersey going up for auction and selling for $2.623million

MJ won six NBA championships throughout his legendary 12-year spell with Chicago.

One of His Airness’ most unforgettable years took place during the 1992-93 season.

The Brooklyn native won the title and was named as the NBA Finals MVP.

The former shooting guard also led the NBA in scoring for the seventh straight year.

In the NBA Finals Jordan averaged a record 41 points over six games as well.

All of the above were leading factors behind the Bull’s first three-peat.

The uniform the New Yorker wore for 17 games during that glittering campaign was put up for auction at Heritage Auctions.

And it sold for a whopping $2.623million, including buyer’s premium.

The uniform is remembered thanks to the cover of the October 18, 1993 issue of Sports Illustrated.

The most expensive Jordan sports collectible, though, remains the 1998 NBA Finals “Last Dance” jersey.
