The Brooklyn Nets (6-18) came out of their mini-break due to the NBA Cup looking to keep the winning going after getting a few days of rest. The Nets enter this matchup after a 119-111 loss at the Dallas Mavericks on Friday in which Brooklyn was competitive in this back-and-forth game all the way until the fourth quarter when Dallas pulled away. Forward Michael Porter Jr. continued his scoring binge with another 34 points along with four rebounds and three assists while rookie forward Danny Wolf had 17 points and seven rebounds off the bench.

The Bucks come into this game following a 116-101 win over the Boston Celtics on Thursday where Milwaukee blew the game open in the third quarter thanks to some terrific defense. Forward Kyle Kuzma led the way for the Bucks with 31 points and six rebounds while forward Bobby Portis came off the bench to drop 27 points and 10 rebounds to help ensure the victory.
