The Milwaukee Bucks have won just three of their last eight games. The team has an 11-16 record, and they don’t look competitive in a relatively weak Eastern Conference. All signs point to Giannis Antetokounmpo leaving the franchise, but the Bucks apparently have a plan to get him to stay.
The Greek Freak has already brought an NBA championship to Milwaukee. In his time there, he has also won two MVP awards. Giannis has stated repeatedly that his only priority is winning. As that grows ever more unlikely, Antetokounmpo moves closer to the exit. But the Bucks will try to make moves to stop that.

Five months after the Bucks’ stunning decision to waive Damian Lillard en route to adding big man Myles Turner on a four-year, $107 million deal, it appears they aren’t waving the white flag on Antetokounmpo’s future in Milwaukee just yet,” Eric Nehm reported for The Athletic.

“Instead, league sources said they’re considering making yet another significant addition that might aid their chances of convincing him to stay.”
Nehm goes on to mention potential stars that Milwaukee can acquire, including Sacramento’s Zach LaVine. Whether this would be enough to get Giannis to stay is hard to say. The Bucks are bound to try and keep their superstar, but they might also have to start making preparations for life without him.
