LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Nebraska men’s basketball team climbed in the latest AP Top 25 poll, released Monday.
The Huskers are now ranked No. 15, up from No. 23 in the previous poll.
Nebraska defeated Illinois 83-80 on Saturday to improve to 11-0 overall and 2-0 in Big Ten play, marking the best start in program history.
The Huskers also extended their nation-leading and school-record win streak to 15 games, dating back to last season.
No. 15 Nebraska returns to Pinnacle Bank Arena on Sunday, Dec. 21, for a matchup against North Dakota. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
