With the Philadelphia 76ers in the midst of another stretch of four days off, now is the perfect time for the younger players to head down to the G League and get some extra court time to grow and develop.

The Sixers sent Justin Edwards, Johni Broome, and Adem Bona down to the G League to get some time with the Delaware Blue Coats and continue their development on the floor. The Blue Coats knocked off the Capital City Go-Go 120-110 on Tuesday and Edwards, on his 22nd birthday, delivered in a big way.

Edwards exploded for 37 points on 13-for-21 shooting and he knocked down four triples while also coming up with six steals. He played 40 minutes and put his entire game on display to lead the Blue Coats to the win.

Other notable performances include Kennedy Chandler putting up 16 points with six assists and four steals while Marjon Beauchamp and Malcolm Hill had 15 points each.
