Portland Trail Blazers rookie Yang Hansen registered another double-digit-scoring effort in the G League on Tuesday in his fifth game with the Rip City Remix.

Yang produced 14 points, six rebounds, one assist and one steal in a 129-100 loss to the Stockton Kings at the Chiles Center. He went 5-of-10 from the field and 2-of-3 from the free-throw line in 28 minutes as the Remix dropped to 8-6.

The 16th pick in the 2025 NBA draft found success working in the pick-and-roll with his teammates for easy looks at the rim. Though he missed a dunk in the second half, he also threw down several one-handed jams throughout his time on the court.

Yang has played sporadically this season with the Trail Blazers, averaging 2.6 points and 1.8 rebounds in 7.7 minutes across 13 appearances. He started for the first time on Dec. 7, totaling four points, five rebounds and two assists in 19 minutes.

The 7-footer is averaging 16.2 points, 9.4 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.2 blocks on 50.8% shooting from the field with the Remix. He has registered two 20-point games, including a 21-point, nine-rebound effort on Nov. 16 in a loss to the South Bay Lakers.

The Trail Blazers were ecstatic to draft Yang, though the team believes he will need added improvement in some areas to see a consistent role. They are high on his potential and will continue to explore opportunities for him in the G League.
