Time for an update to the IndyStar Super 25 power poll, which considers teams from all parts of the state. A couple of newcomers join the mix and plenty of movement elsewhere:
1: Fishers (4-0): Was looking forward to seeing Fishers against Caleb Coolman and Penn on Saturday night at Southport. The weather had other ideas. The Tigers get back to it on Friday in the Mudsock game against Hamilton Southeastern at the Fishers Event Center and Saturday at Shortridge. Previous: 1.

2: Crown Point (2-0): This is another team I was hoping to see at Southport on Saturday. Crown Point was supposed to play Carmel. But soon enough with the Hall of Fame Classic coming next week The Bulldogs have wins over Penn (59-55) and East Chicago Central (91-51) with Munster on tap for Friday. Previous: 2.
3: Pike (5-1): The Red Devils rebounded from the overtime loss to nationally ranked Wisconsin Lutheran with wins over Hamilton Southeastern, Louisville Male, Gary 21st Century and Center Grove by an average of 17 points per game. The Red Devils are off until the Paul Loggan Invite at North Central on Dec. 29-30. Previous: 3.
4: Plainfield (5-0): The Quakers have passed every test so far, including wins over Noblesville and New Albany. Harper Baker-Lands is averaging 18.4 points and Noah Smith 18.2 points and 10.2 rebounds. Plainfield hosts Perry Meridian on Friday and plays at Zionsville on Saturday. Previous: 4.
5: Lawrence North (4-0): The Wildcats pulled out a back-and-forth 80-78 win over Lawrence Central last week and took out Tech 85-46 earlier this week. A big test is coming Saturday when New Albany visits. Previous: 5.

6: Mt. Vernon (5-1): Luke Ertel’s numbers through six games: 23.2 ppg, 10.8 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 2.7 steals. The Purdue commit is shooting 37% from the 3-point line (17-for-46). The Marauders bounced back from the loss to Fishers with wins over Pendleton Heights (62-47) and Anderson (62-49). A tough test on Friday when 5-0 Shelbyville visits. Previous: 7.
7: Cathedral (4-0): The Fighting Irish rallied for a 78-71 win over South Bend St. Joseph in the Sneakers for Santa Shootout and followed it up with a dominant 86-57 win over Warren Central. Seniors Keaton Aldridge Jr. (19.0 ppg, 9.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists) and Julien Smith (17.3 ppg, 7.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists) are both off to great starts. Up next: vs. Tech on Saturday. Previous: 9.
8: Silver Creek (5-0): The Dragons’ toughest test so far was a 65-53 win over Columbus North. Dane Caldwell (15.2 ppg, 9.4 rebounds), Kasen Daeger (14.2 ppg, 5.6 rebounds), Brandon Hunter (11.4 ppg, 9.4 assists, 7.8 rebounds) and Dane Sprigler (10.0 ppg, 3.4 assists) are all averaging in double figures. Trips to Jeffersonville (Thursday) and Bedford North Lawrence (Saturday) precede Tuesday’s Hall of Fame Classic at New Castle. Previous: 10.
9: New Albany (3-1): The Bulldogs bounced back from the loss to Plainfield at the Sneakers for Santa Shootout with a 55-45 win over Floyd Central. Another chance to catch sophomore Noah Washington and freshman Karson Stoudemire when New Albany visits Lawrence North on Saturday. Previous: 12.

10: Carmel (3-0): The Greyhounds’ wins over Zionsville (35-28), Lawrence Central (70-62) and Noblesville (64-52) make up an impressive list. Crown Point would have been a nice test on Saturday at Southport. Cash Daniels had 18 points, eight assists and eight rebounds in the win over Noblesville. Up next are home games against North Central (Friday) and Kokomo (Saturday). Previous: 14.
11: Zionsville (3-1): The Eagles rebounded from a season opening loss to Carmel with wins over Ben Davis (53-48), Westfield (55-51) and Lawrence Central (48-44). Rylon Gore is averaging 13.3 points per game and shooting 11-for-29 from the 3-point line. Previous: 15.
12: Chesterton (4-0): The Trojans sent a message with a 73-55 win over South Bend St. Joseph in the opener and kept it going with decisive wins over Washington Township, Fort Wayne Snider and East Chicago Central. Chesterton hosts Hammond Morton on Friday and Bloomington South on Tuesday. Previous: 18.
13: Northridge (5-0): The Raiders make a big jump after wins over Valparaiso (57-44) and Brownsburg (43-31). Hayden Johnson had 21 points in the latter win on 4-for-8 shooting from the 3-point line and Scholl added 14 points and 17 rebounds. Northridge is at Goshen on Saturday. Previous: 23.

14: South Bend St. Joseph (2-2): This is a really talented team that is going to win a lot of games. The Huskies bounced back from losses to Chesterton and Cathedral with wins over Marquette Catholic and Plymouth. Would have loved to see the matchup vs. Silver Creek at Southport. Elijah King is averaging 16.8 points and 4.8 rebounds. Previous: 6.
15: Penn (3-1): Sophomore Caleb Coolman is averaging 23.8 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.8 assists for the Kingsmen, whose only loss came by four points to Crown Point. Last game before Christmas is at Michigan City on Friday. Previous: NR.
16: Northview (3-0): The Knights have two more games – at Clay City on Friday and vs. North Putnam on Saturday – before the Hall of Fame Classic at New Castle on Tuesday. Brayden Goff is averaging 15.3 points, 5.7 assists and 5.3 rebounds. Previous: 19.
17: Ben Davis (0-2): The Giants have not played a game since Nov. 29 against Zionsville. They get back to it this weekend at Warren Central on Friday and vs. Brownsburg on Saturday. Previous: 17.

18: South Bend Riley (3-0): The Wildcats notched a good win, 65-53 over Homestead, on Saturday as Kelin Webster went for 15 points on 6-for-7 shooting with three rebounds and two steals. Riley plays Niles (Mich.) on Saturday at Mishawaka Marian. Previous: 22.
19: Roncalli (3-0): The Royals are off to a perfect start with wins over Shortridge, Decatur Central and Perry Meridian. Conner Kesler is averaging 22.3 points and 7.0 rebounds. Weekend trips to Bishop Chatard and Beech Grove are up next. Previous: 21.
20: Jeffersonville (2-1): The Red Devils bounced back from the loss to Cathedral with wins over Cincinnati Hughes (48-41) and Seymour (62-53). Jacob Wilkerson is averaging 15.7 points and 3.7 rebounds. Big tests coming on Thursday vs. Silver Creek and Friday at Crispus Attucks. Previous: 20.
21: Parke Heritage (4-0): The Wolves are perfect so far with a win over Terre Haute North as its best result. Upcoming games against Sullivan (Friday) and South Putnam (Saturday). Then … at Fishers on Tuesday. Previous: NR.

22: Noblesville (1-4): The Millers’ losses are to Plainfield, Fishers, Lawrence North and Carmel. Keep that in mind. Big one on Friday vs. Westfield. Previous: 8.
23: North Central (3-1): The Panthers beat Brownsburg, Crispus Attucks and Terre Haute North … and lost to Tech. Interesting. Tough game at Carmel on Friday. Previous: 24.
24: Brownsburg (5-2): The Bulldogs look to bounce back from a 43-31 loss to Northridge on Saturday with Avon at home on Friday and at Ben Davis on Saturday. Previous: 25.
25: Hamilton Southeastern (2-2): The Royals dropped a 59-56 decision to Brebeuf Jesuit last week. It gets no easier with Fishers in the Mudsock game on Friday night at the Fishers Event Center. Previous: 16.
