In Sunday’s victory over the Pacers, Marvin Bagley III led the way for the Wizards as he recorded 23 points and 14 rebounds while C.J. McCollum added 18 points and six rebounds of his own.

Now Washington will try to grab another victory on Thursday night in a tough road matchup against the Spurs.

On the other side, San Antonio enters Thursday’s contest with an 18-7 record, though they are coming off a loss to the New York Knicks on Tuesday night in the NBA Cup championship game.

Dylan Harper led the way for the Spurs in Tuesday’s loss as he ended the game with 21 points and seven rebounds off the bench while Victor Wembanyama recorded 18 points and six rebounds off the bench.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night’s matchup, one squad may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Wizards Injury Report, Will Alex Sarr, Khris Middleton Play?

For the Wizards, they have three players listed on their injury report, though both Alex Sarr and Bilal Coulibaly are not among them.

Of course, Sarr had been sidelined since December 1 due to an adductor strain while Coulibaly had been out since December 4 with an oblique injury but they are both off the injury report and will return for the Wizards on Thursday against the Spurs.

Washington has ruled out Khris Middleton due to a right knee contusion as he will miss his fourth consecutive contest.

With Middleton sidelined, Coulibaly could be in line for a larger role in his return from injury while Justin Champagnie may also see an increase in minutes.

The Wizards have also ruled out Malaki Branham due to a right thumb sprain while Corey Kispert remains sidelined with a fractured thumb.

Spurs Injury Report

On the other side, the Spurs have no players listed on their injury report as they enter Thursday’s game with a healthy roster.

Of course, San Antonio may still elect to play it slow with Wembanyama in his third game back from a left calf strain as they limited him to 25 minutes in Tuesday’s loss after he played 21 minutes in his return from injury against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday.

Either way, the superstar center will likely still have a large role for the Spurs even if he is on a minutes restriction once again.

Fans can catch Thursday night’s matchup between the Wizards and Spurs from San Antonio at 8:00 p.m. EST.
