Despite the struggles of the franchise, Bub Carrington continues to show that he’s a player that the Washington Wizards can build around.

Last night against the San Antonio Spurs, the second-year guard did something that had never been accomplished in the history of the franchise.

The former 1st round draft pick from Pitt became the only player in franchise history aged 20 or younger to accumulate at least 1,000 points, 400 rebounds and 400 assists.

Carrington finished the night by scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists, which put him over 1,000 career points.

After starting out the 2025-26 season slow, Carrington has resembled the player he was last season.
