The NBA on NBC reduced its schedule a couple of weeks during December, to make room for Christmas specials and the live finale of The Voice. But on Christmas week, NBA hoops are back in full force with a pair of double-headers in the lead-up to Santa’s Christmas Eve flight.

NBA games on NBC and Peacock this week
This week’s NBA on NBC coverage kicks off Monday night with Peacock NBA Monday, featuring two matchups that’ll take us through both conferences. It all starts at 8 p.m. Eastern, when Miles Bridges and the Hornets head to Cleveland to take on Donovan Mitchell and the Cavaliers in an Eastern Conference showdown.
Monday night’s coverage will start on Peacock at 7 p.m. Eastern with NBA Showtime, Peacock’s exclusive NBA pregame show previewing all the action to come.
Then, stay tuned for the second game of the double-header at 9:30 p.m. Eastern, when the Memphis Grizzles head to Oklahoma City to face the red-hot Thunder in a Western Conference battle. Can Ja Morant and the Grizzlies become one of the few teams to beat Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder? Watch and find out!

On Tuesday, the action continues with Coast 2 Coast NBA action live on NBC and streaming simultaneously on Peacock. At 8 p.m. Eastern, Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets will be in Dallas to face the Mavericks, where number one overall draft pick Cooper Flagg is still establishing himself. After that, at 10:30 p.m. Eastern, Kevin Durant and the Rockets head out west to take on the Clippers, who are hoping James Harden is back in fighting shape after an injury. It’s two Western Conference games in one night, and you can catch it all on NBC.
