’Twas three nights before Christmas, and there were eight games on the L-L League girls basketball docket on Monday — all of the nonleague variety, as the section slates take a break until the calendar flips to 2026. Here’s the roundup, with plenty of notables:

Warwick 60, Twin Valley 47 — Mia Warfel continued her red-hot start with seven 3-pointers and a career-high 25 points, and the host Warriors made their 32-20 halftime lead stand up for their third win in a row. Warfel’s seven treys were the most by an L-L player in a game this season, and she has 22 3-pointers in the last six games for Warwick, which hits the holiday break tied for first with Ephrata in the Section 2 hunt.

Ephrata 39, West York 34 — Right back up on the horse for the host Mountaineers, who shook off last Saturday’s gut-punch nonleague loss at Penn Manor with a victory over the York/Adams heavyweight Bulldogs. It was a 17-17 game at the half when Ephrata seized control with a 10-1 third-quarter run. Leah Caldwell scored 11 points — giving her 898 in her career — for the Mounts, who fended off West York in the fourth.

Pequea Valley 77, Fleetwood 29 — In a makeup game from a weather postponement on Dec. 15, the Braves bolted to a 29-9 lead, opened up a cozy 54-21 lead at the half, and coasted past the host Tigers. Janae Patterson (27 points), Shelyce Burke (three 3-pointers, season-high 17 points) and Olive Martin (career-high 11 points) keyed PV, which pocketed its fifth win in a row.

Solanco 44, Donegal 33 — The Golden Mules snagged the lead for good with a 15-8 second-quarter clip on the way to securing their second win in a row. Saskia Ludgate (season-high 18 points) and Layne Dawley (12 points) showed the way for Solanco; Hannah Mumper knocked down five 3-pointers and scored a career-high 16 points for the host Indians, who had an early 10-7 lead before the Mules made their move.

Cocalico 48, Penn Manor 44 — The host Eagles were looking to snap back after suffering their first section loss against Warwick late last week — snapping a 6-game winning tear in the process — and they did. Kira Lehman poured a season-high 26 points, Corinne Fair hit three 3-pointers — giving her a league-best 31 treys — and added 13 points, and Cocalico closed the game on a 20-9 blitz and stormed past the Comets. Penn Manor had a 15-5 third-quarter run to grab a. 35-28 lead, but couldn’t slam the proverbial door. Joelle Kroesen scored 12 points and Alayzha Twyman chipped in with 11 points for the Comets.

L-L scoring leader Olive Brandt drilled five 3-pointers and poured in 22 points and Nina Harrison chipped in with 13 points for Lebanon. Allison Krebs scored a season-high 9 points for the Bears.

New Oxford 51, Manheim Central 42 — The Barons loaded up the bus and trekked it to Adams County, where they fell behind 23-8 after the first quarter and couldn’t get over the hump against the host Colonials. Maddie Gehman (14 points) and Gianna Walters (10 points) paced Central, which trailed 31-15 at the break; the Barons outscored New Oxford 27-20 in the second half, but couldn’t catch the Colonials.
