After riding a three-game losing streak, including dropping five of their last seven, the Golden State Warriors secured a much-needed victory on Saturday night over the Phoenix Suns. Prior to their game on Monday night against the Orlando Magic, a new set of NBA power rankings were revealed by John Schuhmann of NBA.com.

Heading into the 10th week of the NBA schedule, the Warriors landed in the middle of the pack, at No. 15 overall. The Warriors moved up the rankings their spot at No. 17 from last week.

Despite landing in the middle, the Warriors started the week off on Monday with another much-needed victory over the Orlando Magic. With their 120-97 win over the Magic on Monday, the Warriors moved back to .500 at 15-15. At 15-15, the Warriors hold the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference, trailing the Phoenix Suns and Houston Rockets in the west.

The Warriors will now get two days off before hosting Anthony Davis, Cooper Flag and old friend Klay Thompson on Christmas Day for a primetime contest with the Dallas Mavericks. Following their game against the Mavericks, the Warriors will open a three-game east coast road trip starting on Sunday against the Toronto Raptors.
