Bucks

Around the league, the belief is that the Bucks are actively looking to make an in-season trade that meaningfully upgrades the roster around Giannis Antetokounmpo and Myles Turner, according to Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.

At the G League Winter Showcase, Trail Blazers forward Jerami Grant was the name most frequently linked to Milwaukee by executives, Siegel reported. Some around the league even speculated that the Bucks could attempt to land both Grant and center Robert Williams in a deal with Portland.

Siegel noted that Milwaukee could theoretically build such a package around Kyle Kuzma, Bobby Portis and an additional smaller contract. Still, Williams’ lengthy injury history and limited availability make that scenario far from risk-free, especially for a team operating in win-now mode.

Beyond Portland, Siegel confirmed that Heat forward Andrew Wiggins remains under consideration, while Wizards wing Corey Kispert has also landed on Milwaukee’s radar. Kispert is shooting 40.3 percent from three this season, though he’s playing a career-low 19.9 minutes per game.

Cavaliers

The Cavaliers are not widely viewed as a team preparing for a major shakeup.

Sources who spoke with Siegel downplayed the idea that Cleveland is looking to move core pieces, but that doesn’t rule out activity on the margins. Forwards De’Andre Hunter and Dean Wade were identified as names to monitor.

Siegel noted that Houston had interest in Wade prior to signing Dorian Finney-Smith in free agency, and Cleveland could still explore smaller moves if the right opportunity presents itself.

Bulls

At least six teams have inquired about Coby White, according to Siegel, with league executives speculating that the Magic, Hawks and Cavaliers could be among the interested parties.

There’s a belief that Orlando, in particular, would like to add scoring punch and could explore a framework involving Jonathan Isaac and second-round draft capital. Chicago, however, is said to be optimistic about landing at least one unprotected first-round pick for White.

That may prove ambitious. While the Bulls could likely secure a 2026 first-rounder from a playoff team, extracting a future pick with real lottery upside could be more difficult for a player unlikely to sign an extension before reaching unrestricted free agency.

As the deadline approaches, White’s market appears active. The price remains the question.
