The Memphis Grizzlies are on the road on Tuesday night as they travel to take on the Utah Jazz in a Western Conference matchup.

Memphis enters Tuesday’s game with a 13-16 record after losing on the road to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night.

In Monday’s loss to the Thunder, Cedric Coward led the way for the Grizzlies as he recorded 16 points, eight rebounds and six assists while Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 16 points and four assists of his own off the bench.

Now Memphis will try to bounce back on the road on Tuesday as they face off against a struggling Jazz team.

On the other side, Utah enters Tuesday’s contest with a 10-18 record after losing on the road to the Denver Nuggets on Monday night.

Lauri Markkanen led the way for the Jazz in Monday’s loss as he ended the game with 27 points and eight rebounds while Keyonte George recorded 20 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Tuesday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Grizzlies Injury Report, Will Ja Morant, Cedric Coward Play?

For the Grizzlies, they have nine players listed on their injury report, including star guard Ja Morant.

Memphis has ruled out Morant once again due to a left ankle sprain as he will miss his fourth consecutive game.

With Morant still sidelined, Cam Spencer could be in line for an increased role, especially with the Grizzlies still without guards Vince Williams Jr., Ty Jerome and Scotty Pippen Jr. as they continue to recover from injuries.

The Grizzlies have also ruled out Brandon Clarke due to a right calf strain while Zach Edey and John Konchar also remains sidelined.

Coward has been listed as questionable with left heel soreness while Javon Small is questionable with turf toe.

Jazz Injury Report, Will Lauri Markkanen, Jusuf Nurkic Play?

On the other side, the Jazz have four players listed on their injury report, including their frontcourt duo of Markkanen and Jusuf Nurkic.

Utah has ruled out Markkanen due to right groin injury management as he will sit out the second game of their back-to-back.

The Jazz have also ruled out Nurkic due to rest as he will also miss the second night of their back-to-back.

With both Markkanen and Nurkic sidelined, Kyle FIlipowski, Kevin Love and Taylor Hendricks may all be in line for larger roles.

Walker Kessler and Georges Niang have also been ruled out as they continue to be sidelined while recovering from injuries.
