ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — The Ronald McDonald House Atlanta turned into a holiday celebration thanks to Hawks star Trae Young.
The point guard and members of his family donated toys to the Ronald McDonald House holiday shop, took part in crafts with kids and served a special dinner.
Leaders at the Ronald McDonald House say the basketball star’s support means the world.
“How awful to be in the hospital for the holidays, and how neat for Trae to recognize the hardships of these kids and these families are going through and come and bring joy here tonight,” Tracey Atwater with Ronald McDonald House Atlanta said.
This was the second year Young and his family hosted the event.
