SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — The Utah Jazz dropped their fourth straight game, falling to the Grizzlies 137-128 at the Delta Center on Tuesday.
Head Coach Will Hardy expressed his frustration as he walked into the postgame press conference. He said his team couldn’t get over the hump, especially defensively.
Memphis shot 56 percent from the field, 42 percent from deep. Santi Aldama matched his career-high with 37 points and made seven triples. Hardy discussed how the defense needed to be more physical without guys like Jusuf Nurkic and Lauri Markkanen.
Hardy also had praise for the offense. Kyle Filipowski had a double-double with a team-high 25 points and 13 rebounds. It was a career night for Taylor Hendricks. He dropped a career-high 21 points. Hendricks spoke about having a great night.
