DALLAS — The Dallas Mavericks (12-19) head west to take on the Golden State Warriors (15-15) on Christmas Day.

The Mavs-Warriors matchup is the third of a five-game slate all on WFAA for Christmas!

It’ll be the first Christmas Day game for rookie phenom Cooper Flagg, surely one of many to come in his career. Anthony Davis has played on Christmas Day five times, four of them with the Los Angeles Lakers. Davis’ average on Christmas is 24.2 points, 8.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists. He had 40 points and 13 rebounds on Christmas in 2023.

Davis and Flagg have been a dynamic duo lately for the Mavs, most recently combining for 64 points, 18 rebounds and 13 assists against the Denver Nuggets in a 131-130 win.

The Warriors have been a mainstay on Christmas in the Steph Curry era. Curry has played in 10 Christmas Day games, winning four of those 10. Curry has struggled on Christmas in his career, averaging only 17.6 points, 6.4 assists on Dec. 25. Last season’s game against the Lakers was his best outing, where he dropped 38 points on 58% shooting. The Warriors are coming into Christmas with a two-game winning streak after beating the Suns and Magic this week.

Curry is averaging 26.0 points and 3.0 rebounds while shooting 43.5% over the past 10 games.

Dallas will tip off against Golden State at 4 p.m. CT on WFAA (ABC).
